The Ask

Help NotCo promote their new product launch, NotHangover, a probiotic shot which mitigates the effects of alcohol.

The Solution

Tell the story of how NotCo discovered the antidote using artificial intelligence to eliminate the zombie that lives within us all.

A chilling night out...

Here's a story of young souls enjoying the moment, throwing caution to the wind as they party through the night. But when morning comes, they turn into brain-rotting zombies unable to function as human beings.

...but with a happy ending.

Without the NotHangover shot, that scenario above will be the ending. We wanted to show this idea cinematically, taking inspiration from a classic zombie movie, Day of the Living Dead.

Advertising Poster

Coming to a city near you, you’ll find wheatpaste posters on every corner promoting our breakthrough antidote.

Social Media Filter

The posters will lead you to our “Living Not Dead Instagram Filter” via QR code for those brave enough to scan. This shows what you can become if you don't take the antidote.

Can you tell who went for a night out?

Then, we're going from the small screen...

To the big screen.

Before your favorite movie, we are going to show cinema advertising to promote the antidote.

It will be a real teaser, as the product isn't released yet.

Lastly, we're celebrating our discovery!

At participating bars, enjoy a drink and a shot. A shot of NotHangover!

X marks the spot.

Key Takeaways

We did it!

Our team discussed how hangovers feel, and fully decided it felt like "death warmed over." Hungover people fit the qualities of zombies, after all.  The way in which we advertised the event was like promoting a new zombie movie. I feel confident in this project because we learned a lot related to cinema advertising.

What would I change or add?

I would expand on the graphic elements, fitting the audience's style better. I would also like to find better uses of the posters in larger spaces, such as billboards.
